Most Dangerous Game Painting Session

So today in Illustration class we painted from a model.  The theme of the model was from the popular book and movie "The Most Dangerous Game".  Here is what I completed within the three hour class period.

Sorry about the picture quality, I could only take it with my iPhone.  I'll try to get a better resolution shot in the days to come.  Let me know what you think, thanks!

Typography Class Book Project

I just finished my book project for Typography.  It is in the design of a Game Boy Color made with cut pieces of foam board rubber cemented together.  The Game Boy cartridge is made out of card stock and the pages just out of regular computer paper.  The type on each page was specifically designed with the Future Std typeface.  The text of the book is a time-line of the history of Nintendo.

March 4th Gallery Show

Alright, well it's taken me a while to finally create my very own blog.  I'll start it off by showing you all the artwork I made for my gallery exhibit that was held on March 4th.  It's a variety of paintings ranging from acrylic to watercolor to oils.  I've experimented a lot this year by preparing for this gallery event as well as attending college at PrattMWP full-time.  Without further ado, here are the featured pieces:

Amelia, Acrylic on Masonite.

I'm Sorry I'm Losing My Vision, Acrylic on Masonite.

 M&Ms Still-Life, Watercolor.

Mel, Acrylic on Paper.

 Metamorphosis, Acrylic on Masonite.

Starring at a Peacock from a Safe Distance, Acrylic on Canvas.

Portrait of Travis E. Bradley, Graphite on Bristol.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Childrens Book Concept Illustration, Watercolor and Ink

Here are some photos of the space:

That was most of the pieces I had up in my gallery show, minus about two.  I will be adding the two oil paintings that were up once I get suitable photographs of them.  Comments and criticism are always welcome so please let me know what you think.  Stay tuned for more entries after I finish more work!
